How much our preachers sermonized
And prophets rose on the earth,
They went away and the disaster stayed,
And your incurable disease remained.
Is it the judgment from God upon us,
Or are we fundamentally stupid?

Wieviel Mal predigten unsere Ratgeber
Und Propheten erschienen auf der Erde?
Sie gingen weg und die Katastrophe blieb,
Und deine unheilbare Krankheit andauerte.
Ist es des Gottesurteils über uns
Oder sind wir dumm im Grunde?

كم وعظَ الواعظون منّا***وقـام في الأرض أنـبـياءُ
فانصرفوا والبـلاءُ باقٍ***ولـم يـزلْ داؤكَ العَـيـاءُ
حكمٌ جَرى للمليك فينا***أم نحن في الأصلِ أغبياءُ؟

Neither stupidity nor judgment,
but hate and hypocrisy.
Since the baby is born virtuously,
with a sheet most of it is pure,
would be engraved as wanted;
forgery, ignorance and arrogance,
Then the mind will creep in darkness,

How can the light shine?

Es ist weder Dummheit noch Beurteilung,
sondern der Hass und die Heuchelei.
Seitdem das Kind mit einem Blatt,
meist rein, geboren wird,
wird es wie gewollt engraviert;
Fälschung, Ignoranz und Pracht.
Der Verstand wird in Dunkelheit kriechen,
die die Patronen in seine Ausbreitung vorangehen.
Wenn die Sonne in Finsternis versenkt würde,
wie das Licht denn scheinen könnte?

ليس غبـاءً وليس حُـكمـاً****لكـنّـه الحـقـدُ والرِّيـاءُ
مذْ يُولَد الطِّفلُ وَهْـوَ طُهْـر***ٌبصفحةٍ جُـلّـها نَـقــاءُ
يُنـقَـشُ فـيها كما يُشاءُ *** زيـف وجهـل وكبريــاءُ
فَيـزحف العقلُ فـي ظلام***ٍيَـبرَعُ في نَـشْرِه الأولياء
إنْ كانت الشّمسُ في كسوف*** كيف إذاً يَسطَع الضياءُ؟
