Democracy is the only way for freedom of minds
The term “Democracy”, indicates a high state of free thought and expression, religious tolerance, individual liberty, political self-determination of people, for fair and just society, through majority rule and voting, passed on from people to the government. And the most important duties of the state in these kinds of regime are the treatment of the individual as citizens with full rights and duties as well as, the practice of people to achieve their rights and interests.
The right to flourish the freedom, peace, and dignity considered to be the principles that democracy was established for, which in deepest meaning, has always stood for truly human solutions and human problems-;- the fundamental problems that benefit everyone, respect the rights and dignity of everyone, not just the few.
Of course the initial foundations of this advanced ideology were based upon the principles of rationality. And was formed in the west after a bitter struggle waged by European social classes, from the schools of thought throughout the ages.
Hence, we can assert that the concept of political democracy is a sophisticated and rigid, since it is possible to improve the shape and concept of democracy by time and place. No wonder the system is spread across continents and adapt by different cultures.
The European peoples valued this kind of system, and they considered it a typical European invention, even though the concept is the product of different faiths and cultures throughout the human history. But in reality the European nations has been associated with this system for the purpose of achieving maximum freedom, justice and equality among the people.
In fact the Europeans tried very hard to adopt the democratic systems in all spheres of political, economic and social Justices, and used these precious values to liberate the people from the monotony and intellectual stagnation, which in turn led to the growth and substantial progress in Western European countries. The system proved to be the only one able to serve the European nations and get them closer to each other, “the wish they dreamed about for centuries”.
The emphasis on democracy by all means reached to all parts of European region including eastern sections, covered all the countries, which they were controlled by the Nazi regime in Germany and the fascist regime in Italy, as well as most of the states ruled by proletarian dictatorships for decades, after having suffered from the scourge of tyrants and various forms of deprivation and thirst for real freedom.
Gradually the democratic system continued to spread in many countries of East Asia, Africa, South and Central America, as well as most of the countries in Latin America and South America.
The time has come for real democracy to play a role in rescuing the Arab world of the recession, monotony and isolation, which hinders the intellectual march towards progress and that is not possible off course without real democratic system.
Gladly we are witnessing clear evidence for the demand of the Arabs and the Muslims to this kind of regime, as we often hear slogans during the modern revolutions, such as " The people want regime change", but today we are hearing, a new logo, with more accuracy and credibility such us " people wants to emancipate the mind".
In fact it is very clear indication of the strong need for a change in mind in middle east and in the Islamic world, “man must first be transformed inside in order to change the world around him” after it became evident the existence of deep flaws in the overall performance of the Arab mind.
It is proven fact that democracy is the only system we can rely on in the east to embrace freedom, tolerance, and enable our people to seek and improve their situation and enable them in the case of monotony and the ancient tradition which became great burden for the future of our Generations.
It is very clear today that the values of the democratic ideology, able to participate actively and effectively in the renaissance of our peoples and the consolidation of the true meaning of life among the members of our communities.
