What if the Christians in Middle East leave?!!
While Christians are leaving Middle East, the State of China encourage Christian missionaries to work in china and to spread the Christian faith all over china, and perhaps the reason is due to their awareness of the values, morals and ethics of the Christian faith as well as the force of honesty and sincerity in life for the Christian individual, especially when it comes to respect the value of life and building bridges between people without having intentions to create divisions in the society´-or-to create a separate political agenda to split the country they live in.
There are confidential reports comes out of China confirming this kind of agenda in the that huge country, especially after the so called “Cultural Revolution”. The Chinese leaders realized that the west would not succeed without the Christian ethics and values.
Unfortunately the situation in the Arab world is extremely different. We find every once and a while some lunatic governments as well as fundamental militant´-or-some political parties, fight the presence of the Christians, without realizing the fact that they are terribly destroying the future of their own people because Christianity in Middle East never was a factor for sabotage and demolition, but the opposite, Christianity always was the main source of Enlightenment movements that occurred in the Arab world, and worked honestly and sincerely to build nations and progressing the people in different fields.
In fact the history of the Arab region shows in every single part of it, that the Christians have maintained tolerance and cooperation with their Muslim neighbors and worked hand in hand against ignorance and illiteracy, famine, epidemics and diseases everywhere and all the time.
What is really hurting the Christian communities in the Arab world is and was the irresponsible hatred speech and remarks been made by some fundamentalist Muslims and even some political leaders constantly targeting Christians and trying to push them out of the Arab and Muslim countries such as Egypt, Libya and other countries. In Egypt for example the situation of the Christians became very tough since the days of Sadat s in the seventies of the twentieth century. The Egyptian leader “Sadat” promised in his public speeches many times that his plan was to eliminate Christians in Egypt. The same statements were given by Moamer Gaddafi when he was the leader of the state of Libya. As well as in Somalia, as the fundamentalist burned the last church in Mogadishu in 2011 and promised to eliminate the Christian presence in that country. The sad part in the history of the region is clear when we look at the Middle Eastern countries, once the stronghold of Christendom was contained 90% of the population in the 6th century. However, by the beginning of the 21th century the situation seems to be very serious as we might not see Christians living in these regions by 2020 - 2030.
Sadly what some Muslim leaders wished to see was fulfilled´-or-is going to be. In fact in the last 50 years, 6 million Eastern Christians have taken refuge in Europe, US and Australia. And now there is a serious risk that Christianity will disappear from its biblical heartlands. Perhaps one of the other reasons that lead Christians to emigrate outside the Arab world: the general feeling of the futility of staying in these regions due to terrorism and racial and religious discrimination, we cannot forget of course the economic factors that are paramount in this case. With time, Christians will effectively disappear from the region as cultural and political forces driving them out, as the Chaldeans and the Assyrians in the west puts it, "there are more Assyrian - Chaldean people in Chicago than in any city in Iraq”
The question that arises is "What if the Christians leaves the Arab world, the middle east,´-or-the Islamic world entirely?! What if that -dir-ty agenda succeed in the region and would the Arab world lose a bit of taste´-or-a bit of light because of that?, I ask these questions, brothers and sisters from the Islamic faith before asking the Christians.
