This phenomenon is called the metastasis, and metastases are the most important causes of death from cancer. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world, and in 2015 it claimed the lives of 8.8 million people, and is attributed to nearly one out of 6 deaths worldwide.

The chances of recovery from many cancers increase if they are detected in early stages and treated as they should be. Also, changing´-or-avoiding major risk factors associated with the disease reduces the burden of cancer, including the following:

■-;- Eat an unhealthy diet that involves eating a small amount of vegetables and fruits ■-;- Infection with the hepatitis B virus´-or-other carcinogenic infections ■-;- Exposure to smoke from burning solid fuel inside closed spaces.
