Tax officials struggle to extract their legitimate constant

At a time when the pace of rising labor activism has increased for
the second day, thousand workers have been protesting outside of the Prime Minister s office in demand for higher wages, working equality sales tax, and general tax. This demands come as a reaction against the continuing price increases, which made daily life unbearable for working people of Egypt. This comes after the false the promise by former leaders of the General Union of Egyptian Workers representatives to solve the problem of the employees.
However, the General Union of Egyptian Workers Union as an affiliate of the state and a outlet for its policy of attacking the rights of workers, are embarking upon a continuous campaign of displacement of workers and liquidation of industrial sectors, are only interested in quenching the movement of workers through false promises
.
The workers have proved that this system practices all forms of class oppression, which always denounces successive moves of the proletarian movement. Reality has proven that state capital and the private sector are not different in rates of exploitation, but in fact both play a huge role in creating injustice for the workers.
The Labor Solidarity Committee calls for international solidarity with Egyptian workers against the tax officials denying them their basic rights. The Labor Solidarity Committee is also appealing to civil society organizations, progressive political forces, and media outlets to demand that the Egyptian government follow by international labor laws to obtain the workers legitimate rights.
