Faced with a Dilemma

It started from early on, it is said to be rare
A thin introvert face, always in need of care
A boy without identity last, this or next year
A boy with a pale face and a fine head of hair

A teenager full of energy knows well it is unfair
Goes here and goes there, looks for himself everywhere
A face not seen save in sense of despair
A face believes eyes are difficult to bear
A face in need of ears and a mouth willing to share
With single or return fare

A man without identity to squeeze a tear
A man with love yet cannot make himself clear
It is not worth it, please listen my dear
There is still hope, in first, second or third gear
