Doubtless,it is a human nature that people feel proud of what they already have got and achieve, and of what they inherite from their anscistors, including cultural transmitted traditions, customs, and the like.this later is said to be one of the most silent and fundamental elements of culture.in fact, there is not just one definition of it,but a numorous ones have been stated by a lot of people whose education is elite, and also by scientists of different fields such as anthropology, sociology, psychology and others.for me,I could theorically define it as one’s shodow,in the sense that wherever one goes it goes with him/her and whatever one does it takes part in the actions and activities.in other words,it is the identity of people as memebers of society.generally, there is no the-best-ever culture in the world since every society is uniquely very proud of its own culture.so they are all seen equal and rich, but different.however, people abide to be proud of their own culture to the core and for ever.

Culture is learned and is passed from one generation to the next through the process of enculturation, the process by which a child learns his/her culture.according to the British anthropologist Sir Edward Burnett Taylor,he proposed that cultures obey natural laws and therefore can be studied scientifically.for him, culture is that complex whole which includes knowledge, beliefs, arts, morals, law, custom and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society.this definition is likely to be identical to what is seen and touchable because he mentions a specific word which is the key area and crucial to completely associate ourselves with the meaning of culture.the word is the acquisition, that an individual is able to acquire a certain culture from his/her forefathers through the process of internalization.in this sense,we keep in mind that culture is transmitted and can,to some degrees,be inherited.still, all cultures, with no any exeption, are like a living document which can be modified or changed slightly at any time,so they are subject to changability.but, there are circumstances to making a culture to change or to be modified a little bit,for example, the children start immediately to acquire or incorporate a cultural tradition through the process of enculturation, they learn things from their parents and memorize them by heart, then employ them with others when he/she becomes good enough to form a speech or use gestures or symbols.nevertheless, all what they would acquire will be changed to some extent as long as the children are growing up.so the age factore plays an important role to the changability of culture.
As we mentioned above and according to the definition that Sir Edwared Burnett Taylor gives that art is included in that complex whole which is the culture itself.thus, art could be categorizingly subdivided into several variant types and forms.for instance, music is referred to be one of art’s forms, and the same with painting and so on.if we take the music into consideration, for example,we for sure find it itself abounds with several variant forms such as house, ragga, rap, hard rock, slow and romantic, country, folklore music and so on and so forth.this difference conveys to us a clear message that there is diversity of musical forms, and each one exists with the existence of its owners or fans as a social group of society who always try their best to keep it and transmit it to their sons and daughters.in this case, all musical forms should be respected, but not undermined and heavily criticized.for example, one of the Moroccan well-known folklore music is “AITA”or”JAGHA”,this latter is constantly criticized by a group of people who are not interested in it.however, there is about more than quarter of Moroccan inhabitants love to listen to it and incorporate it into everyday culture, and some consider it the suitable food for their hungry feelings and water for their thirsty emotions.so such criticisms may lead to an artistic war and discrimination between the individuals of the same society, because no one respects and values the other’s social cultural taste.

Thanks to this form of Moroccan cultural folklore”AITA” morocco becomes well-known in all over the world and therefore receives a huge number of tourists to interact with its culture and study it.of course, some of them come to visit morocco only to see how people perform ‘AITA’.so i suppose that to aim criticisms badly at this form of Moroccan music’AITA’,whose existence is profitable politically, socially, economically and internationally,is insain and non sense.for people who never heard or known this form of Moroccan cultural folklore it is a great opportunity to introduce the fundamental instruments with which this kind of music is performed, the violin and drums.there are in fact other instruments but not as very important as the mentioned ones above,in other terms, they are secondary instrements in ‘AITA’ such as piano, guitar and so on.Besides,it is very common that all Moroccan families celebrate the weddings and national occasins with this sort of music’AITA’or’JAGHA’.and without this latter in such celebrated occasions it would be a lack of exchange of the feelings and emotions among the individuals of a certain moroccan family or group.

Having mentioned all that, there’s a song of ‘AITA’ which is called ‘AITA DAWDIYA’.when it is sung some people, especially women, free their hair and start turning their heads around as a way to express their internal feelings towards the melodies and tones.it is said that those people are possessed by it because it carries historical roots of ‘AITA’that has been culturally transmitted from father to son.even those who are not interested in this sort of music sometimes like to listen to it,but most of the times criticize it.however,it is still a part of their culture whether they like it or hate it.in this context, there must be reasons behind criticizing what it belongs to our culture and what it is internalized in ourselves.one of the main reasons behind leaving our cultural tradions is globalization,it is the process of globlizing everyday activities, including culture.in this process people become like the crow who wants to imitate the peageon’s walk, but when he wants to get back to his own walk he forgot how to perform it and therefore he lost.that’s what happen exactly to individuals or a group of a society when they are affected and colonized by other cultures.in this sense,we are not against the idea of receiving others’ cultures but against the idea of dealing with them wrongly and forgeting and losing and be against our own culture.for instance, some Moroccans, who have been Americanized, look at morccan tradional clothes as an old-fashioned and pain-in-the-neck style, because they are loaded with American style.still this doesn’t mean to boycott American products or refuse its culture at all.the same with ‘AITA’ which is looked down on by Americanized Moroccans, that they criticize it and consider western music as the best and modern.eventually, globalization will remain the most fundamental reason that has broken many Moroccans up with their own culture and exiled them in an island where American and western cultures are very strongly present and left theirs behind.

To sum up,culture is like a living body that contains many organs. the loss of any organ will be an apparent deformation of the whole body.that’s why one mustn’t try to eliminate and abandon what it mutually belongs to him/her.and whether you are proud or not “AITA”or “ JAGHA” is yours and will be yours till the last breath in you.
