Worldwide Conference Of 46 Leftist Parties & Labor Movements in Brussels


Communist parties and progrresive unions demanded in thier confrence in Belgium
the immidiat lefting of the PFLP and Palestinian resisitance from the so called " list of terrorist organiztions"

The Workers Party of Belgium hosted the three days conference of the communist world parties in Brussels, attended by forty-six communist parties and leftist Labor movements

Participants discussed the crisis of capitalism and its impacts on the future of te people of the world and youth , women and students

Representatives of the communist parties called for the release of Palestinian prisoners and detainees, and called for the freedom of comrade leader Ahmed Saadat Secretary-General of the PFLP from Israeli Prisons

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine particpated in this conference, with a delegation headed by Comrade Marwan Abdul-Al, member of the Political Bureau of the front and with the participation of Comrade Hamdan, PFLP representative in Brussels

Comrade Marwan Abdul-Al pointed out in his speech the importance of the conference and the topics discussed by the parties, he coverd in his paper the position of the PFLP regarding the recent developments in the area, and called for achieving a higher degree of solidarity with the Palestinian people in thier legitimate struggle for freedom ,return, and self determination

The Palestinian community in Belgium marked the occasion with a cultural event with the present of the Arab community and the friends of Palestine in Belgium

The event hosted Arab artists from Morroco and ended with a poem by poet Beesan Ahmad The conference coincided with the sixty frist anniversary of the 1948 Nakba
