The west hands-off policy in Syria is self delusional one

While the crime against humanity is raging in the ancient land of Syria, the world powers stand mentally and physically paralyzed .....watching helplessly and passing sillier sanction after sillier ones (ban on Cigars and top shelf alcohol the latest one!!!!!)
So far they Passed every sanctions in the books against the regime of Bashar Al Assad (short if total UN embargo)and that seems powerless to stop Assad while all what he needs is getting through by Iran and Russia and Their Allies in Iraq and Lebanon.
While the argument against direct intervention is thinning out morally it is also thinning out logically and strategically.
I came back to Middle-east after 23 years in peaceful New Zealand and Australia just after the up-rising started in my home town of Darra and ever since with every passing day you see the islamisations and radicalization of this uprising getting deeper and more dangerous
You can not expect any difference from people been brutalized in a daily bases while the Secular world and “logical “and Moral world is watching your children being slaughtered in a daily bases .
The only ones who are offering any real defence against these horrendous crimes are the Islamist!!! Not only they are offering to pray for your dead and to comfort you in your darkest hour , they are also offering you the means to defend your self and protect your family(as little as they can but they are seen as they are only ones who cares at the moment)
“hands-off “policy as stated to me by some diplomats is “we can not go in and get the bad one out while we can not find a suitable replacement......!!!!! or the replacement is the Islamist so why help them .....or we can not be part of a civil war Assad is so disparate to start as a deterrent to the west .......
Assad learnt fast from his father and Lebanon ..... the minute is there a whisper of a civil war the minute all wise heads go away shaking their heads and shoulder as to say :”what can we do”??????
The real fact here and the west should really take notice is : Assad is going no matter how long or how terrible the costs are , Anyone who is watching this up-rising would have got that conclusion few months back when Syrian people decided to carry arms.
Today people who smelled the freedom for the first time in 50 years are not willing to go back to their houses with out what they Rised for........period
If you look at the map of Syria you will find it hard to find a quite area in Syria ......there are huge area where Assad has lost control on a daily bases and gain control temporary only after a huge cost and invasion akin to hitting an ant by sledge hammer.......to lose control soon after.
Sooner or later Assad allies will lose either faith or the ability to supply their man in Syria or the Syrian people will get hold what can be described as a deal breaker as in weapon .
Either way if the Syrian people manage to get rid off their mad man by them self with the help of the Islamist only there will be a renegade state in your hand but this time 200 km from Europe and on the border and Israel and on the borders of other 4 state they cannot be described as sable or strong.
A state owes its existence to no body except who helped creating it And then watch the west scrambling to ask why and when and where?
What the west should do now is the get ride of Assad militarily fast and install even the weak Syrian council on power
And then help the Syrian create a democracy even twisted but far better out come from what we will have ultimately
Hand-off policy is short sited and even irresponsible and dangerous and we in the west will pay 100 times the cost of sorting it our now and fast
The west should create the willing coalition and go in and stop Syria from sliding to anarchy
Or we will pay a huge price believe me.........I am worried
