There is a close correlation between the unemployment and Psychiatric diseases such as anxiety and stress and depression .
The global recession has brought increased layoffs and a rise in the unemployment rate , and researchers until now have been looking at how unemployment affects mental health since the Great Depression since of the 1930s , and Psychological support for people , who suffer from unemployment .
Psychological support is a system of socio-psychological ways and methods that contribute to the social and professional self-determination of a person during the formation of his abilities, value orientations and self-awareness, to increase his competitiveness in the labor market and to adapt to the conditions for the realization of his own professional career.
When a person is left without work for a long time, he naturally begins to feel that he is losing control of his ability to earn a living and take care of his family. He begins to worry about his future.
A large number of people become unemployed at different periods of life. Depending on the structure of the economy and the cyclical nature of its development, including periods of boom and bust, unemployment can hit students who out of school, graduates of higher education, commercial schools´-or-colleges who have completed their studies but have encountered difficulties entering the labor market for the first time--;-- women who want to get a job again after raising their children--;-- veterans of the armed forces--;-- older people who would like to have extra income after retirement.
There is much evidence of the detrimental effects of job loss on the mental health of unemployed people, the most common consequences of job loss and unemployment are psychological discomfort, causeless excitement, fear, somatic symptoms and a combination of symptoms of depression.
