The seekers of the Kingdom of God: the Heavenly Kingdom, are called from the beginning to pull up the tree of sins with the roots to be able to plant a good tree planted by God the Father producing the fruits of blessedness, righteousness and life.
Therefore, Christ Jesus instituting the notion of the Holy Spirit to uproot the weeds of sins through the Repentance searched only by the Apostles predestined to be God’s Temple enlightened by the Holy Light of His Wise Teachings.
And according to Christ Jesus, The Holy Spirit forsaking the Conception to be a Truth residing and living in Apostles’ hearts like the bread is transformed by Christ Jesus from a consumed object to be the Living Bread the synonym of the Word of God living in Apostles’ hearts to produce the fruits of Faith.
And in this context, Christ Jesus employing the Parable of the man and the fig tree saying in Luke 13:6-7 :

“6 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. 7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
So this Parable teaching the priority of the preparation of the soil to be fertile producing good fruits, and the soil to prepare is the soul predestined to reject sins through the Repentance sought by the Apostles always looking for the Heavenly Kingdom, thus the Title of Verses including this Parable is “Repent´-or-Perish” to affirm the fundamental role of Repentance to institute the Faith.
Therefore, Christ Jesus saying in Luke 13:1-5:
Repent´-or-Perish
13 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4´-or-those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
So, for herein, Christ Jesus destroyed the ambiguous notion of the holy land to institute the Conception of the Holy Spirit talking in Apostle’s hearts which pushing them to the Repentance since the Holiness of the Spirit rejecting naturally the sins and always aspiring to the fulfilment of all Righteousness.
And due to weeding out the roots of death, the Apostles uprooting the tree of sins making the sinful crumbling into dust to be the wise Sower planting in the fertile soil to produce the fruits of God’s Word Knowledge .
On the contrary, the foolish man planting a “fig tree in his vineyard” is the blind person doesn’t seeking for the Repentance but he conserving all sins that spoiling his soul to walk completely in the ways of darkness since he “went to look for fruit on “a dark soul predestined to be burned in the fires of death.
Furthermore, Christ Jesus giving the free choice to Humans to chose Life through seeing Him as the Son of God and God Himself and by hearing His Wise Teachings which pushing them to the Way of Truth: the Repentance enabled them to be His Apostles walking in the Light of His Path--;-- however, whoever choosing the darkness because he rejecting the Light and preferring intentionally the wrong track is damned and can’t produce fruits since he nullifying the Word of God to look for the dust and the illusion pushing him to imagine that he can produce fruits in a sterile soil.
