It is not beat the wives, It is hit an example by them

Marriage is the human relationship, the virtuous values that Almighty God has made the basis for building a human society, so He made it a tranquility and mercy for the spouses based on love, and made the way of treating any problems between the spouses by preaching the voice of wisdom, patience and forgiveness.

And Allah warned husbands by punishment with torment if they violence beat their wives.

The hiting of a wives who does not keep secrets of the unseen inner life between spouses that mentioned in the Qur’an is NEVER beeing by harm striking them such beating in combat, but the meaning of hit wives which mentioned in the Quran Sorat al-nusa a number 4 Verse 34 is " hit them for parable, set the wives as example", so the husband sets an example about his wife in his complaint to her relevant family person and does not mention her name, but rather mentions an example and hit a parable of some wife did not keep her husband inner life secrets. This is the real meaning of the verse and the following evidence verses is proving this truth.

It is a kind of high-level Qur’anic moral and manners.

Allah say in the Quran:

"when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms´-or-release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress voilence [against your wives]. And whoever does that has certainly unjust himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And take Allah a patron guard and know that Allah is Knowing of all things." 2:231 Sorat al-Baqara

(And do not hold them to harm in order to transgress violence) God forbids the husband’s abuse of his wife, so he should not attack her by word´-or-deed, nor insult her,´-or-oppress her.

(And whoever does that has unjust himself) And whoever transgresses against his wife has moved himself from security and safety zone of what believers respect and moved himself from the peace relationship with almighty Allah, and by violence his wife he has transgressed the-limit-s of God, so he has wronged himself, and the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment.

The prohibition of assault on the wife in the verse was followed by another prohibition and admonition to husbands related to the verses of the Qur’an and the Book, to show that God prohibition of assault on wives is a topic related to belief in the vetses of God and the Book and the commandments.

(And do not take the verses of God as a mock) Do not mock the verses of God, especially the prohibition and the criminalization of assault on women, (And remember God’s blessing upon you and what was revealed to you of the Book and the commands He preached you with, and take Allah as patron protector and know that God is All-Knowing).

God forbids those who take partners to legislate for them a religion that God has not authorized, and warns the wrongdoers that they will have a painful punishment.

Allah say:
"Have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented? But if not for the decisive word, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment."(21) You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty.(22) It is that of which Allah gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for this message any payment [but] only intimacy through kinship." And whoever commits a good deed - We will increase for him good and beautful therein. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Appreciative.(23) : 42 Sorat al-shora


The believers are given good tidings of gardens, and freedom of choice among all types of blessings (they have whatever they want from the Lord, this is the great bounty).

And the Book of tiding and its verse - (that is what God gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds).

(Say: I do not ask of you any payment for it except the intimacy of kinship.)

God says to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: Say, “I do not ask you for payment for that book of tiding, except for the kindness and intimacy of kinship, that is be kind to your wives, be sympathetic to them and love them.”

(And whoever commits a good deed, We will add to him a good deed, for God is Forgiving, thankful) and especially the one who does good to his wife, God will increase his goodness therein.

God has made the kindness and intimacy to the wife linked to the faith in the Book, and Glory be to Him, making the prohibition of transgression against her related to the grace of the Book and its rulings, and the prohibition of mocking those verses and that the prohibition of assaulting women is part of the admonition of the generous Qur’an.

Allah say:

"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them-;- and He placed between you intimacy and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought." 30:21 Sorat al-room


God made between spouses intimacy and mercy, this is the law of marriage based on affection, intimacy, love and mercy by forgiveness and treatment with kindness and generosity.

"DaRaBa" the Arabic root definition that could be using in various meanings regarding to the context it is meaning hit in a combat, hit in the land that mean travel´-or-hit parable and Example.

The verb "daraba" means to establish, set, hit, pound and to make an effect.

It is said to hit a case of an example of simile to bring the understanding closer and to have an effect that the mind remembers The Example and parable.


Allah say:

"indeed, Allah is not shy to hit an example - that of a mosquito´-or-what is up of it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient, " 26:2 Sorat al-Baqara


(God is not shy by hit an example of a mosquito and what is up of mosquito) The hiting of example of creating a very small mosquito is that a man can not able to create a mosquito, rather than making a mosquito with super miraculous devices from a device that emits a sound that exceeds its size in according to humans and thermal radar And the ability to fly and maneuver, and its tube that sucks blood, its accuracy as if it were a laboratory and a flying laboratory, and the ability to reproduce by the billions of mosquito, and there are many things we do not know about, and the man cannot create a single mosquito.

Allah say:

"Have you not considered how Allah hit an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky?(24) It produces its fruit every time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah hit examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded.(25) :14 Sorat Ibrahem

God has set pound an example to make an impression on the mind and heart of the believers that the good word the Noble Qur’an is like a good tree, its root is fixed like the Book, it has not and will not be distorted,´-or-imperfect, and its branch in the sky is like the Qur’an, the revelation that came down with truth from the sky like a book, its meanings appear and its human moral values are elevated at all times by God willing.

(And the Almighty God hit an example for people so they may remember) The parable that fell into their hearts making a mark for them, so that they might remember the wisdom, it is the way of teaching the concept of wisdom by hit and set an example.

Allah say:

" And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allah , and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption." 60:2 Sorat al-Baqara

Moses peace be upon him strike with his stick means he dropped his stick on the stone that Allah told him (We said, “Hit the stone with your stick.”)

Allah say:

Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain." 63-;-26 Sorat al-shoara a

Or hit the sea with your stick means fall with your stick on the sea.

He says humiliation and misfortune struck them, meaning humiliation and misery fell upon them and it made an effect.

Allah say:

"And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions." [Moses] said, "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked." And they were striked on them by humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allah and isolated (rejected) the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing." 61:2 Sorat al-baqara

Allah say:

"[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah , unable to hit in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all]. And whatever you spend of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it." 2:273 Sorat al-Baqara

(They cannot hit the land) It mean, they cannot travel because the camels and horses hit the ground with their feet and cause a trail, meaning the trail and travel are pound in the ground.

Allah say:

[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who did violence (covered the peace), so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every limbs" 8:12 Sorat al-anfal

So strike then upon the necks (their heads), and strike every limbs of them) means, so strike hard on the head of the enemy in the fight, which creates an effect that kills them and stops their might, and prevents them from aggression. Beat and fall on the entire body of the enemy to prevente and restrain them from violence and aggression.

Allah say:

"He sends down from the sky, rain, and valleys flow according to their capacity, and the torrent carries a rising foam. And from that [ore] which they heat in the fire, desiring adornments and utensils, is a foam like it. Thus Allah strike the truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it vanishes, [being] cast off-;- but as for that which benefits the people, it remains on the earth. Thus does Allah strike an examples." 13:17 Sorat al-ra ad

So the torrent carried froth (zabadan Rabia) the foam that floated on the surface of the water torrent, so it remained carried on the torrent.
(And from what they burn in the fire for ornaments´-or-enjoyment is a foam like it) And from the gold that is burnt in the fire to melt and float the impurities that were mixed with the gold metal, those floating impurities are foam like the foam of the water torrent.

(This is how God strikes the truth and the falsehood) Its mean, God strike example with truth and falsehood. The verse shows that the word “yadrib” means “He strike an example,” and that is the meaning that we guide with in understanding the following verse that mentions the wives who fear their defiance, [and strike them as an example].

(As for the foam, it goes as dryness, and as for what benefits people, it remains on the ground.) As for the foam, it is foam from the torrential water and the impurities of melting the metal gold go away as dryness and do not mix with its carrier, and as for what benefits people water and gold, it remains in the earth.

(Like that, Allah strike an example).

Allah say:

"Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband s] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them-;- [then if they persist], forsake them in bed-;- and [finally], strike parable (Examble) for them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand." 4:34 al-nisa a


(So the righteous women are obedient, preservers of the unseen and keep the secrets of the inner life with her husband with what God has preserved, and for those whom you fear their transgression, exhort them and desert them to their beds and hit example for them.)

And hit them means hit them for example´-or-hit them likewise, and set parable of them to present the problem without mention wives names.

Like the husband who wants to complain to his wife’s family that she does not preserve the unseen and that this is not a good deed, so he gives them the example “If a wife does not preserve the unseen of he husband, then that is not a good deed.” Likewise, her husband sets an example without mentioning her explicitly, and that is from the character of the great of the values religion.
